Even after telling them that charging a 3% user fee on debit charge was both fed and state against the law. They told me they didn't have to follow that law, because it is a convenience fee. Sounds like a scam to me. BBB and Visa have been notified. In process with state also. Must be nice being able to choose which laws you have to follow.

I want to preface this with the fact that I've used McAllister numerous times for stone, and they're great, especially for service. However, this is my first time getting topsoil from them, and it's not the greatest, not much for organic material, very light tan in color, and seemingly with some clay content. I opted for pulverized topsoil since im finish grading for a lawn in a few spots, and im still breaking up some extremely hard basketball sized chunks. I'll likely have to split this load up and source some better topsoil to mix in with what i already got. Again, no complaints on service, the topsoil just isnt really topsoil.

This Year we used McAllister for, mulch, crusher dust, pulverized topsoil and 3/4’ crushed stone. Everything was great quality. We had it delivered each time and were accommodating to our schedule. Both customer service and the dump truck drivers, were extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend them to others.
